Nat SG888 days agoWas my first time ordering sewing pattern prints for myself from a printing company. I had put it off for so long because I was nervous about how time consuming and risky it would be if it didn’t work out. Uploading the things I needed was so easy and they shipped wonderfully. I will never go back to printing large patterns myself on small sheets of paper if I can help it 😂😂 I don’t have a proper space to show part of what I received, but I still want to share lol. Wendy Sienkiewich953 days agoPDF Plotting did an excellent job of printing FOUR patterns for me. The sizing is completely accurate. PDF Plotting provided the patterns so quickly too. I was surprised. I love having the pattern sizes printed in different colors. It makes it so much easier for this 73 year old to trace. It would have been so terribly painful to print on my home printer and then tape the pages together. Let alone the number of ALL the pages and ALL the ink. Attached are a sample of a pattern and a project completed from a different PDF Plotting pattern. Ordering Independent Patterns online has become so much easy using this company. It was a blessing to discover PDF Plotting!!! Thank you for your great service!!+1

This pattern was printed on the lighter weight paper, which is so easy to work with. It came rolled in a very sturdy cardboard and arrived in perfect condition! Dana Yelverton4 days agoI used PDF Plotting for the first time recently for A0 format sewing patterns. It was easy to navigate the site and download the patterns from my files. They provide a link to a site where individual pages can be extracted if the whole pattern does not need to be reproduced. Shipping was just a few days (I’m in NC). Copies were rolled and mailed in sturdy cardboard so no damage. I would suggest ordering as many at one time as possible since there is a flat rate shipping fee of $12.99. Will definitely use them again!

Brooke Nelson6 days agoI love this particular PDF printer for printing my sewing patterns because it comes so quickly and shipped very securely in a thick tube and cardboard box. It’s very high quality, and I like the lighter translucent paper, which is much easier to pin. And not to mention the great price. I always recommend PDF Plotting to all my sewing friends.

Lori6 days agoPDF Printing is my go to for large format printing -typically I am printing copy shop size patterns. They have two options of paper type for patterns, one is more ridged and the other a more pliable option. They print in color or black and white. The printing and shipping time is very fast. The prints are rolled and shipped so they dont have extra folds which I have found helpful with storing until I cut the pattern. The site is fairly easy to use for uploading my projects and they offer a discount within each order depending on the size of the order. If you create a login it also keeps track of files you've previously order.

Their website is easy to use. The turnaround time is very quick. I have been ordering the heavy 20 -pound paper, but I plan to try the new translucent soft paper on my next order.

Sinead Stephens25 days agoI sew a lot and always print my patterns. This is a great source for pattern printing if you need to make larger pieces (gowns, big sleeves, etc). Much better than what I would have done on my own- printing on normal letter sized printer paper, then taping them all together. I've never had an issue with prints from this company, always scaled properly and their software auto detects what size and how many sheets of paper to use. Comes in a roll, and shipping is quick. Highly recommend to anyone who needs to print sewing patterns.

Uploading the files to be printed is very easy and doesn’t require you to select the paper size or input the number of pages. The turn around is quick and I always receive my prints tightly wrapped and without creases. I recommend pdf plotting and will continue to order with them.

Patricia Peak37 days agoThis was my first experience with PDF Plotting. I learned about them at Pattern Con earlier this month. When they say they are fast, they are not kidding. My order had already shipped by the second day just as stated. I had one pattern printed on the large sheets, which I will always try to do from now on; and one printed for me to assemble and tape because that's how it came. Prices are extremely reasonable and it sure saves me time and ink not having to print them all at home myself. Great job!!

I recently got four patterns printed for what one would have cost locally (including shipping). It may take a little longer to get my patterns, but I never have to leave home. I am always confident PDF Plotting understands how to print sewing patterns as well.

Doreen Oakes43 days agoI was looking for a U.S. printer that could print PDF patterns on plotting paper, being tired of printing 8.5x11 and taping them together. The only issue I had was - and this is no fault of PDF Plotting, is that I picked the sizes or layers in the PDF that I wanted to be printed and I ended up with all sizes printing anyway. I double-checked this before uploading my revised, selected layers of the pdf on my end. I could only see the 4 sizes I picked but after uploading, it still showed all sizes. It's not a big deal to me, I'm still happy that I got speedy service. I only mention it to others in case it does matter to them. I'm guessing the PDF was locked so that I could not save my changes.

The shipping cost was reasonable, and there are even discounts for larger orders. I especially liked that my printouts came rolled rather than folded. The thickness of the paper suited me as well. Turn-around time was fast. I will definitely use this company again when the need arises.

Sarah Kubetz49 days agoThe patterns I requested turned out beautifully in full color. The paper was a good weight. Since I only had two patterns to print, the cost ended up being a bit pricey. But I preferred paying the price to copying out tons of pages on my printer and trying to tape them together correctly.

colleen davis54 days agoThis service is fantastic. I used it to print 2 A0 sewing patterns and it was better than I imagined. I ordered monday afternoon and they were on my doorstep friday. There's no way I would have had both of those patterns home printed and taped together (not to mention how frustrating those can be) in that amount of time. Price is great and the way they arrived was just great as well! Will absolutely use them over and over again.

Hanna Kaufman130 days agoAfter running out of ink at home and then replacing with a cartridge that turned out to even faulty, I tried printing my sewing pattern at my local library. It wasn’t until I assembled all of those printed pieces that I realized the scale was off. I spent forever trying to find a print shop that could do the large format printing so I didn’t sink more time into this after losing so much already. After a fruitless search, I finally learned about this service. What a lifesaver!!! Affordable, came quickly, was packaged protectively but without any unnecessary or larger-than-needed boxes, and perfectly to scale. I’m on my way!! And unless I buy a projector at some point to skip the paper stage altogether, this shop will be my starting point, go to place for all patterns moving forward. Thank you!

Janet Kuras130 days agoPatterns are always printed perfectly, there are three paper options, if you encounter problems, there is help readily available, and the shipping is super quick. I use PDF Plotting exclusively for my.pdf patterns!!

Megan Fries133 days agoI used PDF Plotting to print my sewing patterns that come in A0. They printed quickly and shipped them safely. Each pattern comes with box that should measure 1in if sized and printed correctly and they were.

Carol Smith175 days agoThis was my first experience uploading a few sewing patterns and having them printed on newsprint (versus printing on copy paper and taping countless pages together). The copies are crisp and clean, and patterns are so much easier to cut out and fold for storage. Super friendly folks who talked me thru an ordering issue I had. Joanna Schexnayder191 days agoThey've made updates to how you can order since my last order and it is much improved! No more need to zip everything together, auto selection of size (matters when you use both US and foreign designers!) and no more b/w or color distinction! This is a great improvement in my mind and makes me much more likely to order more frequently because I don't need to use my computer anymore and don't really have to think. Prints are always perfect.

Blair Conger218 days agoPDF Plotting’s service is fast and perfect. No more wrangling with my printer and prepping pages into a pattern. I have used both types of paper offered and prefer the 20# stock. I trace off my size and keep the pattern intact and rolled up. This is helpful to my process if I need to check details, make a different size or just want convenient storage. The shipping boxes make great storage as I can put many in an upright box and label the box.

The prints from PDF Plotting are significantly cheaper than anything available in my area, the website is incredibly easy to use, and prints arrive quickly and conveniently at home. Packaging is minimal (but prints are well protected) with no unnecessary plastic. Highly recommend!

Mia Vasquez226 days agoIve been having trouble finding a local print shop in my area, that can plot my patterns. So glad I went with PDF plotting. I PDF'd my pattern straight from my Clo3d software and it came out perfect. I set my width at 36", but next time I will set it at 35-35.5" because some of my lines came outside of the 36" paper, but they still sent me 2 sets of patterns to correct this. Thank you 😊

The few times I had issues (with my own file format challenges), I had support and in one case, a refund when I was charged the wrong amount. Highly recommend saving the time and tape by using PDF Plotting!

Kayla Dernier243 days agoPDF plotting was fast and accurate. This is so much easier than taping all the pattern pieces together. When my patterns arrived I just traced each piece with tracing paper in the size I wanted, that way I don’t ruin the pattern if I want to make a different size.

Lynn255 days agoI have had several orders with PDF Plotting and they never disappoint. Anytime I have a question they respond promptly. They've been printing my sewing patterns and i love that they aren't folded up, and come rolled up instead. There's no reason for me to go anywhere else.

Cristina L286 days agoI’m very satisfied with my experience with PDF Plotting. The ordering process could not be any simpler; it definitely compares favorably to another company I tried. The price per page for sewing patterns seems fair, and the paper quality is good, like regular printing paper. The company kept me informed of the status of my order by email at each step, and my order arrived just a few days after I placed the order. I have not seen any of the patterns yet, but everything looks correct. I will definitely use them again ( this was a actually my second time using them for this type of printing), as it is so much easier than printing patterns at home and taping them together.

Christi Marsh290 days agoI ordered several AO sewing patterns to be printed and didn’t download the files correctly. I was contacted by email promptly to let me know and request the correct files. I appreciate the email and great customer service. The patterns were printed in a short turnaround time. I don’t know that there are many options in the US for printing pdf sewing patterns, but even if there were options, I would recommend pdf plotting due to their great service.
